2010 Thoughts - I Am Legend

Today is the third day of the year 2010...

It is going to be the fourth day in less than 5 hours time.

Yesterday I watched " I am LEGEND" with pig pig.

It sets me thinking if I could even survive without anyone by my side on planet earth.

A definite NO. I cannot even imagine that.

It is the people around us that make up our life.

Think about it. We make up part and parcel of each other's life.

Be it be friends, families, lovers, colleagues, teachers, waitress, chefs, taxi drivers, enemies...

Be it close or not close,

Be it blood related or not,

Be it be acquaintances with an 1-sec interaction,

our life is only complete with people around us.

without them, everything we have now is impossible - no one to cook, make food, operate buses, sell cars, sell food, teach words, pay you salary,

everything loses its meaning and it deprives us from the basic necessities of life - love, care and concern.

Will Smith is one brave soul in the story.

He survived and lived with the hope of meeting other survivors on earth.

I remembered watching a similar movie on this before.

I admire his spirit but in reality, I would have committed suicide.

Dear friends, the movie reminded all of us that it is always a blessing to be living in a healthy community with sound and energetic spirits - be it poor or rich, happy or unhappy.

All these are insiginificant and are god's gifts for you to continue to experience life.

I thank everyone whom I have met in every second of my life.

Especially to those who truly care for me - my friends, my families and my lover.

Remember to always stop and reflect on the little things we have in life.

My ten resolutions n 2010 -

Spend more time with my family.
Laugh more. Stay optimistic and happy in life! It's time to spread my love around. Forget those politics.
Buy a new laptop by March 2010. Any good suggestions anyone?
Overcome the struggles and challenges in my daily work. I can do it!
Buy a new wallet
Change my wardrobe to elegant formal pieces
Improve my discipline in life. I can do it!
Learn to drive a Honda Fit or BMW on the road haha
Lose some fats around my tummy and legs to fit into my old clothes
Leave Singapore at least once

It is going to be a brand new 2010 for me. Everything is going to be new. :)

my life has been up and down for the past few months.

I have experienced some sadness, some happiness, some tears, some anger, some joy...

someone told me abit of everything makes up everyone else's life...

nothing is certain in our hands forever...

so let's hold on to what we can control now!
